The Tampa Bay Lightning announced that forward Jack Finley has been recalled from Syracuse of the AHL. Meanwhile, forward Gage Goncalves was sent down back to Syracuse after clearing waivers.
The 22-year-old Finley is expected to make his NHL debut tonight against the Boston Bruins Trøje. Although he did not participate in the morning skate and is currently listed as a healthy scratch, he is the only substitute in the lineup. If an injury occurs before the game, he will have a chance to enter the game.
Finley was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning Trøje with the 57th overall pick in the 2020 draft. After failing to participate in training camp before the season and failing to join the lineup due to injury in the offseason, he was sent down to the AHL until last month. Since then, Finley has performed well in 10 games, scoring 2 goals and assisting 4 times, totaling 6 points.
The 220-pound center has performed well on the offensive end.
